tender moments enhance baby's cognitive development

It is well-known that early constructive stimuli to babies have immense impact for their later formative cognitive development. However, it is still to my surprise the huge extent of the dependence of environment on the exponential increase of the neural synaptic connections in baby's brain. Any tender moments between parents and babies are implicitly enhancing the baby's future cognitive development.
